Following Kurt Angle's Twitter outburst toward CM Punk for calling TNA an indy promotion at Chicago's Wizard World Comic Com, Kurt took to Twitter once more to apologize for his comments. He did still made it clear that his feelings about Punk would remain.

"I apologize to Tna and Wwe fans for My Comment. I don't expect Punk to apologize to Tna. But I'm sorry.respect4thebiz"

He also tweeted...

"I didn't apologize to Punk. Only the Wwe Tna fans. Punk Disrespected Tna. He Has Alot to learn about fame and responsibility."

Did Angle lash out at Punk because TNA, in fact, does have its own fan base and puts on great performances despite being held in smaller venues? Still, one cannot fault CM Punk for his remarks because each person is entitled to their own opinion.

However, CM Punk has also made a series of interesting comments on Twitter lately, helping him garner heel credibility. Is CM Punk just stirring the heel pot? Is he causing an uproar in order to increase his spotlight?

It's hard to tell.

It's impossible at the moment, but perhaps Angle and Punk will have an encounter in the future and Kurt will be able to make good on his previous Twitter threats.
