WWE SummerSlam 2012 is right around the corner and all the matches have been set up, meaning that it is time for us to make some predictions for the top matchups of the night.

SummerSlam is always one of the greatest spectacles in all of wrestling, and this year could be one of the best ever.

CM Punk, John Cena and the Big Show are set to meet in what is sure to be one of the top matches of the night and Brock Lesnar and Triple H will be going at it in a battle that has mostly just pride at stake.

The WWE is unpredictable, but here you can find predictions for Sunday's top matches.

CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Big Show for the WWE Championship

The WWE creative department could do a lot of different things with this match because all three of the wrestlers involved are are at the top of the industry.

A Big Show victory would be the most unexpected of the three, as there are the least amount of storylines to be made out of him.

If John Cena were to take Punk's belt, it would vault Cena back to the top of the WWE world for yet another time. That doesn't seem like too bright of an idea, as there are plenty of WWE fans who are annoyed by Cena's presence at this point.

Punk is the most logical choice to win the match, as he would be able to continue his full-blown heel turn. Not only that, but he would be able to continue to feud with general manager AJ.

Predicted Winner: CM Punk

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

In a battle for nothing in particular, Triple H and Brock Lesnar are surely going to be at each other's throats until the final bell.

A victory by Brock Lesnar would be pretty ugly for the COO of the WWE, and very unexpected at that. Lesnar hasn't been much more than a colossal disruption to some of the top names in the industry since he made his return.

It would almost be a crime for the WWE creative team to have Lesnar win this match. On the latest episode of RAW, Lesnar put Shawn Michels out of commission with a Kimura Lock, the same way he broke Triple H's arm.

That would indicate that Michaels isn't likely to make an appearance to help Triple H on Sunday, but I predict that is exactly what will happen. Michaels will come running to the ring with his arm in a sling to help Triple H knock off Lesnar.

Predicted Winner: Triple H

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler

Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler are very similar to each other both in terms of wrestling style and on-screen personality.

Ziggler is the youthful version of Jericho, captivating younger WWE fans with his flair and blatant arrogance. Jericho is the wily veteran who has lost some steam lately, but still has the ability to hang with the best.

It would make more sense for Ziggler to win this match, as there are various routes that can be taken with his budding career. Ziggler should be able to build off of his Money in the Bank contract win and win this match.

Predicted Winner: Dolph Ziggler
