Weekly NFL Trades and Signings Recap

There have been a good deal of moves made in the NFL recently, most of them to small to have their own post. Therefore, below is a recap of all of the recent NFL moves.

  • The Detroit Lions signed safety Kalvin Pearson. Pearson, who played last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, joins fellow Buc teammates Brian Kelly, Dwight Smith and Chuck Darby in Detroit.
  • The Oakland Raiders signed wide receiver Drew Carter to go along with newly signed WR Javon Walker - The Raiders were looking to upgrade their receiving corps after the departure of Jerry Porter.
  • The Tennessee Titans signed wide receiver Justin McCareins. The Titans have been busy this off-season signing defensive end Jevon Kearse, offensive guard Jake Scott and tight end Alge Crumpler.
  • The Washington Redskins re-signed defensive tackle Ryan Boschetti, quarterback Todd Collins and running back Rock Cartwright.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers signed free agent linebacker Keyaron Fox.

That is the quick rundown of NFL news and notes for the past few days.
