Pro day workouts are here for all young men that want to prove that can make to the NFL, prior to the draft in April. The combine is complete and now its time to see what they really have. Take a solid glance at the Raiders, posts combine mock draft selections.

From looking at the combine I would like to see Everette Brown, DE, Florida State play for the Raiders. Making opposing teams move away from his solid pass rush. Brown stock is climbing and moving up in the draft, from his performance at the combine.

Brown was spectacular in just about everything he did and posted a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash. Brown shows the ability to the NFL that he is all around athlete and can give any defense with his agility, balance and flexibility. And with the new defensive scheme’s the Raiders may have this year whether they be 3-4 or 4-3 he will make an impact.

Though, he is not my first choice I am still going with Michael Crabtree Wide Receiver from Texas Tech. Even more so due to his injury in the first round he has slip into Al Davis arms. He has proved to me in college career he can make a great impact for the Raiders certainly with this being a major need even though they may sign a veteran free agent at that position.

He will use his 6'3", 214 pound frame and be a physical receiver with the speed to blow right past defenders that the Raiders need. Even though we all know he will have surgery for his stress factor on his foot.

He will recover and he will be able to make a huge impact in the NFL. And he will comeback to his amazing performances he showed in college like the 18 touchdowns he made in 10 games.

My other solid picks fallen off the seventh pick overall ranking, especially to the Raiders such as Texas defensive end Brian Orakpo. He also was injured but not before he was able to post an 4.7 40-yard dash and make 31 repetitions on the bench press.

However, the more I watched Orakpo run and work out, the more I am convinced Orakpo is not suited for the Raiders he simply looks too rigid.

In the second round, I going to move away from defensive selection that I provided in my last mock draft and stay in the offense since I think Davis will select a veteran free agent for the defensive line help. This will provide the Raiders with solid experience at the line, which certainly needs help.

With the 39th overall selection in the second round pick the Raiders select Max Unger, Center from the University of Oregon. Unger is solid offensive lineman who can make an impact with the Raiders for many years to come.  He was the 3rd fastest of all offensive line on the 20-yard dash and three-cone drill in combine this provided a solid glimpse to the coaches and staff to what he can do.

Unger started every game with Oregon and has the ability to play both center and tackle on the line. He also very intelligent lineman and though the Raiders knowing that he is very versatile.

The next selection the Raiders will choose is solid defensive player that will make an impact for many years. With the 71st selection in third round the raiders will choose DE from Jaron Gilbert from San Jose St.

Gilbert is 6-5 and 288lbs though has the speed of some linebackers he posted a speed of 4.78 in one of the run made in 40 yard dash in the combine.

As a red-shirt freshman in 2005 he made impact in college he had 22 tackles and three sacks. He improved his performance throughout his college career at San Jose State and he will continue making an impact in the NFL for the Raiders.

I'm not going to be disappointed in knowing if the Raiders select a back up quarterback during the fourth round look at our current back up’s,  it certainly will not hurt the team. I hope, the Raiders find themselves lucky enough that the Raiders can obtain a great and solid back up on the second Day.

Therefore, with the 104 pick overall the Raiders will choose Chase Daniel Quarterback from the University of Missouri. Chase Daniel is solid and he may just what the Raiders need to back up Russell. Daniel made an impact in college by competing of 65 percent of passes and over 8500 yards thrown for 91 touchdown in his college career at Missouri.

As stated in my last article on the draft from here on out its just mater of picking the best selection overall during the 6th and 7th round.

Though my two picks have changed due to the recent releases the raiders made. I believe the will both of them will be solid back ups though and possible make impact later in there career.

The Raiders sixth round selection, I though due to the recent release of Griffen would be a fullback. Since Oren O’Neil needs a solid back up though don’t be fooled the Raiders already have one Luke Lawton.

In the sixth round, with the 168th overall selection, the Raiders will select George Hypolite Defensive Tackle from the University Colorado.

Hypolite stock, has not fallen though he did not participate at combine, I believe he will make a solid performance during Colorado pro day coming up this March 9. He made a solid impact in the Big 12 with 32 career starts and 12.5 sacks for the Buffaloes during his college career as at Defensive Tackle.

The seventh round selection is not so solid we never know what will happen from now till draft. the final selection of the draft to the Raiders will choose will go from the University of Rutgers Strong Safety Courtney Greene. Due to the recent release of Gibril Wilson at safety position for the Raiders.

Courtney, stands at 6'2" and weighs 212 pounds. He will make a great impact on the Raiders special team and become a solid back up. The Raiders need a safety with size and he has it.

Al Davis likes players with speed. And Greene is fast and to go along with that speed he has good instinct to find the ball and make tackles.

The seven rounds of the Raiders draft selection will definitely change. Due to upcoming free agency and continuous pro days leading up to the draft, stay tuned.
