The NBA season is half way over, and the college season is in the same situation. As the season comes to the end NBA scouts are paying attention to the college game to get the best player for there squads.
Here, in my opinion, will be the draft order and the player they'll choose.
Sacramento Kings: Blake Griffin
Washington Wizards: Hasheem Thabeet
Los Angeles Clippers: Greg Monroe
Memphis Grizzlies: Rick Rubio
Oklahoma City Thunder: Dejuan Blair
Sacramento Kings
I think the Sacramento Kings will end up with the first pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. I believe that they'll go after Oklahoma's Blake Griffin.
Griffin, who is the rebounding leader in NCAA Basketball with 13.8 that'll spark the post of the Kings. He can also bring scoring to the table averaging 22 PPG. They'll need more than Blake Griffin to turn it around but they can start to develop with this pick.
Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards will have the second pick in the draft. I say they'll go after Connecticut's Hasheem Thabeet. With Washington battling injuries, when healthy they can play some good basketball.
However, they'll need a post player to go along with Antawn Jamison and with Thabeet he can bring you a shot blocker, a great rebounder, and be an intimidator in altering shots. Thabeet's size is very impressive and he will be good if he can produce with there perimeter players
Los Angeles Clippers
The LA Clippers will have the third selection in the draft, and I say it can go two ways. With the absence of Cuttino Mobley and Elton Brand they are not the same Clippers.
I do believe they're going to address the post and I suggest them choose Greg Monroe, the 6'11" freshman from Georgetown. Greg has alot of potential in the NBA and is a good fit with the Clippers.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies will have the fourth pick in the draft and I think they'll choose Ricky Rubio the 6'4" Guard from Spain. With Michael Conley not producing the Grizzlies look to add a spark to there backcourt and they can do that with Rubio.
Oklahoma City Thunder
This Oklahoma City Thunder team is not a bad team. With the emergence of Kevin Durant they can contend if they add a dominate defensive post player. Dejuan Blair is the best fit for the Thunder.
Blair is a very athletic post player that can dominate on both ends of the floor. As you seen in the game head to head with Thabeet, no matter how tall you are Blair can hold you and manipulate you. This will be a great pick for the Thunder who is lacking dominance inside
