I know, I know Stephon Marbury is a possible brain tumor for teams but many reasons why Celtics  should take a chance.

1) Everyone says Stephon Marbury is selfish but he didn't come into the league like that. One Reason. The Big Ticket. He kept Starbury in line.

2) Although many say he left Minnesota because he hated being second fiddle that's a side reason. The main reason is because the Timberwolves refused to extend his contract, so he demanded a trade.

Traded to the Nets. Nothing big ever happened with him there, but he was eventually traded to Suns for Ason Kidd. Trouble with the front office got him sent to Knicks for a draft pick and cap room. (Drafted Amare Stoudamire, two years later signed Steve Nash again.)

Now, I know many will say why defend him, I will because he is a good person in a bad situation. You may also ask how i know he's a good person...LOFL, the lard butt Starbury Steve and Barry shoes.

Just think of the good things he did before you think about the bad is all im saying. I know he will forever live as the bloke tattoo-headed dude who killed the Timberwolves, Suns, and the Knicks, but he may be the feel good story if reunited with KG and if he helps Celts win banner No. 18.
