With TNA’s Hardcore Justice scheduled for Sunday, August 12, the excitement over what could be the company’s best pay-per-view of 2012 so far has wrestling fans from all walks of life excited for the show.

The fact that two championships are on the line is enough to sell many fans, but three hardcore matches will be enough to get the diehards that miss the edgy side of wrestling to buy into what TNA is selling.

If this card lives up to the incredible amount of hype it has created, TNA Impact Wrestling will take another giant step towards closing the gap between themselves and their biggest competition; the WWE.

What They’re Saying

TNA resident jobber Robbie E took to Twitter to talk himself up and try to convince people he has a viable chance in his hardcore match:

This Sunday it's Hardcore Justice Live on PPV! Me vs Bully Ray vs Jeff Hardy vs James Storm in a tables match! My chance for 20 pts

— Robbie E (@RobbieEImpact) August 10, 2012

Ring Rust Radio points out that the depth on this card alone makes the PPV worth the purchase:

With the #TNA World title on the line, three hardcore matches and a battle for the X-Division belt, #HardcoreJustice will be a great show!

Undercard Match To Watch

Zema Ion vs. Kenny King—X-Division Title

Just a month after Zema Ion won the TNA X-Division title, there is a good chance that the division’s best heel could drop the title for young star Kenny King. After King left Ring of Honor on bad terms to pursue his dream with TNA, letting him win gold would be the least Dixie Carter and company could do.

King proved in ROH why he was one of the best young stars in the business, and it looks like Austin Aries has kicked the door wide open for the guys from the Indy scene to make a giant splash in today’s TNA.

No matter who wins, this match will be amazing!

Prediction: Kenny King wins gold.

Main Event Preview and Prediction

Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode—TNA World Title

While some wrestling fans have not been amused by Robert Roode after the last few months, the feud between Austin Aries and Roode has been one of the best in all of wrestling this year. Now we can add another chapter.

Aries has become the face of the younger generation on TNA Impact Wrestling, and that’s a good sign for the company moving forward. Unlike WWE and their stone-age mentality to the business, TNA realizes that no matter what size a star is, push them if they sell.

Just like Kevin Nash, WWE has missed the boat on many occasions with smaller stars, but TNA will not make that same mistake.

Prediction: Austin Aries retains.
