In a thrilling 4-3 preseason friendly with Bundesliga side Hannover 96, Manchester United ran out 4-3 winners thanks to goals from Chicharito, Rooney (2) and Kagawa.

The Red Devils looked terrific going foward thanks to some fine build up play by Cleverley and Kagawa, but were found wanting at times at the back.

Competition for goal of the game came down to a tie between Abdellaoue's cheeky backheel and Rooney's stunning free-kick.

The team now looks to the start of the Premier League season, which kicks off next Saturday.

90+1' - The final whistle is blown and Manchester United have won the Chevrolet Cup!!! Who needs Premier League trophies? My man-of-the-match? Either Rooney or Kagawa, probably Kagawa.
