Talent scout Daniel Poneman says there is “no doubt” that Chicago’s Jabari Parker is the best high school player in the 2013 recruiting class.

“Judging on potential, talent, ability and willingness to work, he has all that,” said Poneman. “I have never seen a kid so well put together with his head in the right place. He’s in a class ahead of Andrew Wiggins (the top player in the 2014 class), but is actually a year younger. He’s 6-9 legit without shoes. Think Jabari with a worst case scenario that is less explosive but a better passer than Carmelo Anthony. He can lead the fast break. He has a high, high ceiling.”
