Ken Mink, a 73-year old college basketball player who had been playing for Roane State a Junior College in Tennessee has been deemed academically ineligible.

Mink allegedly failed Spanish class.

"I told coach (Randy Nesbit) early on that I was having trouble in Spanish," said Mink.

Mink's last game with Roane State was when Roane State played Hiwassee, a game in which Mink scored two points.

Roane State, Mink and Coach Nesbit, all say that it is an administrative error and that Mink should return to the court soon.
