It has been rumored for over a year now, but it is finally official, next years WrestleMania (WrestleMania XXVI or possibly billed as WrestleMania 2010) will be held at the University Of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The stadium is new, opening in 2006, and has a retractable roof!

The stadium can accommodate 73,000 for football. Expect 75-80,000 seats to be available for the WWE event since they can utilize the football field for seating.

WrestleMania XXVI will be the fourth consecutive stadium WrestleMania, with XXIII held at Ford Field in Detroit in front of over 80,000 in '07, XXIV being held outdoors last year in front of over 74,000 in Orlando's Citrus Bowl, and this years event coming April 5 to Reliant Stadium in Houston with over 70,000 expected to attend.
