1. Portland: Greg Oden, C

The Blazers should feel like they hit the jackpot. Impact centers are hard to find, and Oden is a presence on both ends of the court.

2. Seattle: Kevin Durant, F

Durant is an excellent offensive player and has great potential on the defensive end. He could end up replacing Rashard Lewis if Lewis leaves as a free agent.

3. Atlanta: Mike Conley, PG

The best point guard in this year's draft. Conley showed poise and leadership as a freshman at Ohio State. He also possesses great speed and runs the fast break well.

4. Memphis: Al Horford, PF

Horford will make an impact from Day One in the NBA. The most consistent player on Florida's back-to-back national championship teams.

5. Boston: Yi Jianlian, PF

A bit of a project—but Yi has star potential. Could develop into an All-Star performer...even if he doesn't contribute right away.

6. Milwaukee: Corey Brewer, SF

The best perimeter defender in this year's draft class. Brewer's shooting range needs to improve, but his ball-handling skills and athletic ability will help him excel early.

7. Minnesota: Brandan Wright, PF

A strong low-post scorer with a slight build but a world of potential. Wright can score from the block—and that makes him a valuable commodity to NBA teams.

8. Charlotte: Julian Wright, SF

A stout small forward with a well-rounded set of skills. Wright must improve his perimeter shooting and become more consistent to be a star at the next level.

9. Chicago: Joakim Noah, PF

A hustle player who does all the little things. Noah's offensive game is a bit weak, but his desire to improve will help him immensely.

10. Sacramento: Jeff Green, SF

A solid player who can contribute immediately. Green probably isn't going to be a star, but he will be an excellent complementary player.

11. Atlanta: Spencer Hawes, C

A phenomenal low-post scorer who was inconsistent as a freshman. The knocks on Hawes are that he's not incredibly athletic and his strength is nowhere close to what it needs to be. His footwork on the block is very natural, though, and he has a knack for blocking shots.

12. Philadelphia: Al Thornton, F

An incredibly athletic forward with explosive quickness and leaping ability. Thornton needs to improve his shooting range and ball-handling skills if he wants to play small forward in the NBA.

13. New Orleans: Nick Young, G-F

A dynamic scoring swingman with big game potential. Young needs to become more consistent if he's going to make good on his ability.

14. LA Clippers: Thaddeus Young, SF

A long, lean forward with great leaping ability. He has good shooting range but needs to improve his ball-handling skills.

15. Detroit: Rodney Stuckey, G

A scoring guard who can play some point. The biggest question mark is Stuckey's ability to play against quality opponents night-in and night-out.

16. Washington: Jason Smith, PF

A finesse big man with excellent size. Smith's stock is rising fast thanks to his ability to run the floor and his ball-handling skills as a big man.

17. New Jersey: Tiago Splitter, PF

A big-bodied post player with rebounding skills. After years of pulling out of the draft due to contract issues, Splitter seems ready for the NBA.

18. Golden State: Josh McRoberts, F

A player with many tools who never quite put it together in college. McRoberts has the size to play power forward, but his skill-set and passing ability make him an excellent player on the wing.

19. LA Lakers: Acie Law, PG

An NBA-ready point guard who can score as well as run a team. Law is a clutch player who wants the ball when the game is on the line.

20. Miami: Javaris Crittenton, PG

A raw point guard with tremendous potential. Crittenton has all the tools to be a top-notch distributor.

21. Philadelphia: Rudy Fernandez, SG

A slick guard from Spain with an offensive game that is NBA-ready. Fernandez' experience should help him crack an NBA rotation this season.

22. Charlotte: Aaron Gray, C

At seven feet, Gray is a classic NBA center. His size is his biggest asset, but he's more than just a big body.

23. New York: Jared Dudley, SF

A smart, hardworking forward with a well-rounded game. Dudley is the type of player who can help the Knicks turn things around.

24. Phoenix: Marco Belinelli, SG

A good shooter who has improved rapidly over the past year.

25. Utah: Morris Almond, SG

A pure shooting guard with excellent ability to score the basketball. Almond's stock has been rising since the predraft camp.

26. Houston: Aaron Brooks, PG

Brooks lacks in size but not in spirit. An excellent ball handler who can shoot the lights out.

27. Detroit: Marc Gasol, C

Gasol is a finesse big man with a decent jump shot. At 7'1", he'll have a chance to play right away.

28. San Antonio: Arron Afflalo, SG

A strong defensive player with big game experience. Afflalo's versatility will allow him to fill a number of roles for an NBA team.

29. Phoenix: Marcus Williams, G-F

A very talented young man searching for a position. He plays more like a guard than a forward

30. Philadelphia: Derrick Byars, G-F

Byars came up huge last season, showing off an intriguing package of skills and leadership.
