The playoff is still a few years away, and in the meantime, we have the BCS still looming large on the horizon in 2012. Certainly, everyone wants to get to the BCS Championship game, but there can only be two teams playing for that crystal football.

So, what about the other games?

The Rose, Fiesta, Sugar and Orange Bowl featured intriguing matchups last year. For the Rose, it was the Ducks handing Wisconsin another loss in Pasadena. For the Fiesta Bowl, Oklahoma State put an exclamation point on a great season.

In the Sugar Bowl, Michigan returned to prominence, and in the Orange Bowl, Dana Holgorsen and West Virginia had a coming-out party at the expense of Clemson.

In 2012, who will make up the 10-team BCS bowl field? Will newcomers to the Big 12, TCU and West Virginia, grab a bid, or will longtime powers control their own destinies? Which team wins each league?
