It's time to let go of Michael Phelps, America. No worries, because I think the young lad will be just fine out there.
The most decorated Olympian of all time, and one hell of a doggy paddler, was out in London to celebrate his end of games, and generally being the best swimmer on the planet.
We now have evidence that among his many talents is also being a tremendous baller with some serious game.
You go boy.
TMZ reports Phelps was in London celebrating and spotted him with a "mystery blond." I know, it sounds pretty scintillating, but the mystery is solved rather easily.
E! Online did their gossip homework and came back with a name for this beauty, LA-based model Megan Rossee.
A source confirms to E! News that Phelps is dating model Megan Rossee, a 25-year-old from Los Angeles.
The romance has reportedly been going on for about five months now, and Rossee even cheered on the champ at the Olympic trials.
Rossee did us all one better by taking this pic and posting to her Instagram.
You can learn more about her at her official website, which includes a portfolio that cites, "experience in High Fashion Print, Runway, Film and Television."
She seems to be taking a break from her career for the moment, and that makes sense considering her summer that includes supporting her swimmer boyfriend. Here is what she had to say over at Model Mayhem.
This summer has turned out to be very busy for me, so I am no longer accepting TFP unless hair/makeup or wardrobe are provided, or if the project is something my portfolio is lacking. I am super easy going and pretty much down for any type of project (that doesn't involve nudity). I love what I do and hope to further my career as a model as well as a performer, so if you are interested in working with me, send me a message! I'd love to hear your ideas.
A general malaise sweeps across the globe of those who had quite the affection with Phelps. It seems that he is very much taken.
He now heads into the sunset of retirement with quite the beautiful better half. Yes, it's fair to say this kid will be all right.
