As I have been hinting at for months, the Ducks are getting ready to unveil their new uniforms for the 2012 season.

Over the past 24 hours, this rumor has picked up steam as University of Oregon Sports Information Director Andy McNamara released some photos of the Ducks green jersey for the upcoming year.

While some fans may be disappointed to know, the Ducks will be wearing new uniforms but they are not completely out of nowhere.

When you take a look at the green uniforms, they are the ones that the Ducks wore in the 2012 Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin. What will likely be the case is that the Ducks will have a complete set of them using green, yellow, white and black.

The other good news from this release is that it appears that the Ducks will raise the curtain on their new look in the next week. Keep your eyes peeled because as soon as the Ducks show off their new threads, you will be able to see them here.

Despite how Oregon has continued to change up their look on the field, the way that they play has stayed consistent. With three straight conference titles on the line, the Ducks head into the 2012 season with a conference title to defend and new uniforms to do it with.
