Danica Patrick enjoyed the best short-track race of her career as she posted an 11th-place finish in the Nationwide Series race Saturday at Iowa Speedway.

Patrick had an opportunity to score her second top-10 of the season but she tapped the wall while trying to negotiate lapped traffic while running 10th with 41 laps remaining in the race. She then lost at least two spots before regrouping and finishing 11th in the U.S. Cellular 250 won by Elliott Sadler, who came back from a controversial penalty a week ago at Indianapolis for an emotional victory.
