Tied with fading Northern Iowa for first place in the Missouri Valley Conference, Creighton concludes their regular season next Saturday at home against third place Illinois State.
Missouri State completed its improbable victory against Tennessee-Martin on Saturday when Kyle Weems nailed a jumper with one-second on the clock to beat the Skyhawks, 79-77. The Skyhawks had won 11 games in a row while the Bears had lost four in a row and sank to the bottom of the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bears will have to pull another surprise if they are to get a victory against Creighton or their last regular season opponent Indiana State.
