In one of the more exciting fights on the preliminary card last night on Fuel TV, Nam Phan defeated Cole Miller by split decision and picked up a much-needed win.

Phan might not be a definite contender in the featherweight division, but there is no doubt he is one of the most fun guys to watch step inside the Octagon.

Here are three possible opponents for Phan to fight next.

Jonathan Brookins

Many figured this would be the finals of season 12 of The Ultimate Fighter, but it didn't pan out that way.

Jonathan Brookins would go on to win The Ultimate Fighter, while Nam Phan lost in the semifinals to runner-up Michael Johnson by split decision.

Brookins is coming off a loss to Charles Oliveira back in June, but the matchup presents a good test for both fighters and would definitely be a fun battle to witness.

Rani Yahya

Rani Yahya picked up a big win on the prelims of UFC on Fox 4 last night, so matching up the two featherweight winners is a major possibility.

Yahya has a nasty ground game, and it was on display last night with his innovative north-south choke submission victory.

Okay, just kidding.

Hacran Dias

Hacran Dias has only had one fight in the UFC, and it was a pretty decisive win against Yuri Alcantara at UFC 147.

At 21-1-1, Dias is looking like he might become a major factor in the UFC featherweight division. But a fight against a guy who will push him will definitely be in order first. Nam Phan is that guy.

Phan is one of the few fighters in the UFC who always brings it and comes to fight, so matching him up with Dias would make for one exciting featherweight scrap.
