Dez Bryant Parts Ways with NFL Agent Drew Rosenhaus

Dez Bryant's tumultuous offseason has taken yet another turn. This time his agent of merely a little over eight months, Drew Rosenhaus, is the casualty.
For reasons unclear at the moment, Bryant has decided to re-hire Eugene Parker as his agent. Parker was Bryant's initial agent coming out of Oklahoma State in 2010.
If the move by Bryant seems a little brash to the public after having just fired Parker less than a year ago, it appears that the Cowboys' brass approves (via the Dallas Morning News):
"We are aware of it," Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said. "He did make us aware of that he was probably going to switch. We support him and the decisions he makes."
Although that sounds like a generic response to such an issue, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones seemed more genuinely supportive with his take. "Nothing against Rosenhaus. I know what a quality person Eugene Parker is and Dez benefits from that," Jones said.
Keep in mind Eugene Parker's representation of Bryant out of college was at the recommendation of Bryant's mentor at the time, Deion Sanders. It would seem that Bryant is attempting to turn the page in his young career and going back to an agent that his NFL support system believes better suits him is a start.
