General managers beware—we have the trades that will have you wake up in a cold sweat in the dead of night.

Every trade has a very clear winner and loser, but these things are so lopsided that they change the very landscape of the game.

We have collected the very worst trades in all of baseball history. It's time to fill your belly full of some truly hilarious misguided efforts from MLB GMs.

These are transactions that will have you shaking your head while you scratch your temple raw and exclaim, "What were they thinking?"

Judging by the end result, you have to assume they weren't thinking at all—because that's the only way you get these trades.

It's always fun to nitpick with the advantage of hindsight. It really makes you feel like a smarter and more efficient human being.
