This post is an response to The Carolina Panthers' "Dream Team"
If there were no salary cap and I could have anyone I want from any team these are the people I would pick.
I respect the Carolina Panthers and would not want anything to change on the real team. THIS IS JUST FOR FUN.
The QB- Drew Brees
The Arm
Drew is an big strong football player who can squeeze the ball in any hole.
Drew Brees is an athletic person who probably was third in the league, but as we all know he was first in yards and completion. I would love to have him on my team.
The RB- DeAngelo Williams
The Flash
DeAngelo Williams had an MVP, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, and any other Award you can think of year this year.
He had the highest amount of TD's this season and the 90 less attempts than Adrian Peterson.
The FB- Lorenzo Neal
The Bulldozer
Lorenzo Neal is a big blocking Fullback who has blocked for four 1,000 yard rushers LaDainian Tomlinson, Le'Ron McClain, Willis McGahee, and Cory Dillion.
The First WR- Steve Smith
The Playmaker
Steve Smith is the definition of an Panther to me an absolute beast.
Steve Smith has the hands, leaping ability, the speed, and most importantly the heart to be one of the best, and that's why he is one of the best.
The Second WR- Larry Fitzgerald
The Hands
Larry Fitzgerald has the hands to make any play an big gain
Larry Fitzgerald is the all-around player. He has the speed to cause separation, the hands to get any jump ball, the ability to to get anyone to bite on an fake, but most importantly, he has the drive to win.
The TE- Antonio Gates
Mr. all around
Antonio Gates is fast, athletic, and strong. He is the perfect Tight End.
You know you're good when you say your in my down year as an Tight End I had 700+ yards.
The O-Line
The Biggest and the Ugliest
Creates gaps for the running game, and does a good job of protecting the quarterback.
The MLB- Jonathan Beason
The Carolina Panthers' "Dream Team"
Jon Beason had a great '08 season, and as far as MLB's go, with 138 tackles and three interceptions, he is definitely coming into his own and creating a name for himself.
The Safty- Troy Polomalu
The Hammer
Troy Polamalu is an athlete
Troy Polamalu is an athlete that is all over the field he is an hard hitter and will make plays.
The Corner- Asante Samuel
The Difference
Asante Samuel is one of the premier corners in the league. I like Samuel's elusive speed, and his ability to make a play seemingly out of nowhere.
