Major League Baseball's non-waiver trade deadline is a thing of the past. All the rumors can be put to bed, and teams can go back to their respective pennant races in peace.

Some teams did better than others at the deadline. Some clubs made small improvements. Others made big improvements. A select few made small and big improvements.

For these clubs, a glass must be raised. They walked away from the trade deadlines as winners, with medals and everything (not really).

Other clubs didn't do much. They either didn't make any improvements, or they didn't get enough value back in the trades they made. These would be the Losers (yes, with a capital L).

Times such as these call for immediate discussion, and myself and B/R Lead Pop Culture blogger Gabe Zaldivar are on the case. We each picked one deadline winner and one deadline loser to ramble on about, and our ramblings were captured on video.
