Michigan State Values Emerging, 'intense' Rivalry with Wisconsin

East Lansing — Smash-mouth, hard-hitting, intense, meaningful.

All the ingredients needed for a good old-fashioned football rivalry. And when you're talking Big Ten football, it can be any number of head-to-head matchups: Ohio State-Michigan, Wisconsin-Iowa or Michigan State-Michigan, to name a few.

But considering how things have gone the past few seasons, one budding rivalry was on the thoughts of many late last week at the Big Ten media days in Chicago — Michigan State-Wisconsin.
