WWE Raw Goes Three-Hours: Where Have the Divas Disappeared To?
Raw is three hours long!
They say you can never get enough of a good thing. That is, until it stops being good.
On that note, where were the beautiful ladies of WWE last night? AJ was there and so was Rosa, but what about Layla, the current Divas Champion?
With SummerSlam right around the corner, it is imperative to start planning some sort of angle or story heading into the big summer extravaganza.
I am still in shock about Kharma's sudden release. Whether voluntary or not, it is a huge blow to the division as so many of the WWE Universe were counting on her return to spice things up.
The champion, although beautiful, hasn't accomplished much since her return this past April, and it is a shame because there is good stuff to do with her.
It is very sad to notice how low the Glamazon and Natalya have fallen as well. Last year, they were the "Divas of Doom" and showed so much promise. It came to an abrupt end and for no apparent reason other than Creative Writer's lack of vision.
If there is no room to feature the ladies on three hours, what does that mean for the division as a whole?
On the plus side, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have both departed from TNA (Thank God!), and once the legal mumbo-jumbo is behind them, the two "Beautiful People" could appear on Raw and start making fun of Layla or something.
Imagine the "BP" arriving at WWE, prompting Michelle McCool to come out of retirement, and starting some sort of feud versus a reunited Lay-Cool.
I would really enjoy that given the fact that I've always loved both groups. What can I say? I have a soft spot for "HOT" mean girls.
"Piggy James, eating food...imagine that!"
If not that, then hurry up and insert Sara del Rey in there fast! I hope she is allowed to keep her current name and not forced to carry something like "Norma Rockwell."
Whatever reasons you have for holding these women back or keeping them away from the camera, stop it!
Enough of this nonsense, give me some Divas action and fast! The WWE Universe wants that.
There is plenty of time for a quality program featuring the lovely and talented ladies of this company. Take it from me, I know my pro-wrestling.
