The race for the 3-year-old championship is probably over, but if there’s anyone out there who might catch the retired I’ll Have Another, it’s a Zayat Stables colt who added an impressive line to his resume on Sunday. And it’s not Bodemeister, the runner-up to I’ll Have Another in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness. It’s the other horse in the Zayat barn, Paynter, who is now THE horse in the barn after pulling away in the stretch and winning the $1 Haskell quite decisively by 3 3/4 lengths at Monmouth Park.
