Olympic Cycling 2012: Day 15 Results, Medal Updates, Highlights & More
Jaroslav Kulhavy of Czechoslovakia closed Olympic cycling the way it was meant to be, in epic fashion.
Kulhavy chased Switzerland's Nino Schurter in the final 200 meters and held on to finish a second ahead of him in his way to gold, clocking at 1:29.07.
Schurter finished right behind Kulhavy, winning silver and Italy's Marco Aurello Fontana won bronze, finishing 24 seconds behind the Swiss.
With the win, Kulhavy achieved the cycling trifecta, having won a World Cup, a world championship and now an Olympic title.
