Each morning, I like to start the day off with a workout—usually a morning jog. I can clear my head, plan my day, and think about what’s going on around the NFC South.


Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A failed conditioning test was not the final straw that led the Bucs to trade defensive tackle Brian Price on Thursday, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The move had been in consideration for weeks prior.

Tampa Bay waived wide receiver Dezmon Briscoe and defensive back Devin Holland Thursday evening, and signed wide receiver Landon Cox and cornerback Marquese Wheaton early Friday morning. []

New head coach Greg Schiano was a top Div-1-AA linebacker in college, according to, and began his coaching career working with linebackers. His attention to detail and focus should help this unit dramatically.
