Mike Magee is back. In the 62nd minute, he broke open the scoreless deadlock thanks to a delivery from Robbie Keane. It’s 1-0 Los Angeles Galaxy over FC Dallas. The goal is Magee’s fourth of the season.

Early in the second half, a chance for FC Dallas’s Scott Sealy was challenged by Omar Gonzalez, who conceded a corner for Jackson in the 47th minute. Andrew Jacobson didn’t get a good head on it, though. Bryan Gaul tried to deliver a cross in the 49th minute of play but found no one.

In the 56th minute, Fabian Castillo tried to slot in a cross but that was out for a throw. In the 57th minute, a shot for Juninho sailed wide left.  At the hour mark, A.J. DeLaGarza had to keep Castillo in check, conceding a corner that was cleared, and Scott Sealy nearly took advantage of the rebound.

The match is now wide open and the onus is on Dallas to respond in Frisco.
