It’s halftime, and there is no score between the LA Galaxy and FC Dallas.
A chance for Robbie Keane in the 26th minute sailed wide right. Mike Magee took a hit in the 27th minute but won a free kick for the Galaxy. David Junior Lopes attempted to head one in 28 minutes into the contest but never was in position to make a play for the ball.
In the 30th minute, Scott Sealy broke loose, but his shot went wide right. In the 34th minute, a shot from Magee found the arms of Kevin Hartman. In the 35th minute, Hernan Pertuz held Robbie Keane in check, conceding a corner that was cleared by Kevin Hartman. Hartman himself conceded another corner a minute later, and that was cleared.
In the 39th minute, Jackson’s next corner was punched out by Josh Saunders. A minute later, a Jackson free kick sailed wide right. Kevin Hartman came off his line in the 44th minute to deny Juninho. Andre Jacobson nearly had one in the 45th minute, but sailed wide.
LA are very unfortunate to not be leading this match. But the lack of Landon Donovan and David Beckham has made FC Dallas a tough nut to crack this week.
