Dave's College Basketball Picks, Feb. 21: Missouri State at Tennessee-Martin

dave darbySenior Analyst IFebruary 21, 2009

Missouri State (10-17, 3-13 at Tennessee-Martin (19-6, 12-3)

Line: Tennessee-Martin -8

No surprises, as Missouri State lost to Bradley, 71-60, on Tuesday. The loss was the Bears' fourth in a row and seventh out of their last eight games. Other than a game in November against Central Michigan, Missouri State has failed to win on the road. The season's end can’t come soon enough for MSU.

Tennessee-Martin is still holding on to a slim Ohio Valley lead with their 76-60 road win against Eastern Illinois on Wednesday. The win was the 11th in a row for the Skyhawks, who last lost back on the eighth of January, to Austin Peay. After this lay-up against the Bears, Tennessee-Martin finishes with three games against top-tier Ohio Valley teams, so this will be the last break of the regular season.
