Nebraska (16-8, 6-5) at No. 15 Kansas (21-5, 10-1)
Sat. Feb. 21 at 4:00 p.m. EST
Spread: Kansas -12
Backcourt Advantage: Kansas
The Jayhawks will be led by their leading scorer Sherron Collins (17.8 points per game, 5.0 assists per game). Nebraska gave Kansas a good game in their first meeting, a 68-62 Jayhawk win in Lincoln. Nebraska will need another strong defensive effort to keep this one close in Lawrence, though. The Huskers forced 21 turnovers while only committing eight of their own. I wouldn't expect that same kind of efficiency on the road.
Frontcourt Advantage: Kansas
Cole Aldrich (14.9 ppg, 10.3 rpg) was held in check by Nebraska in their first meeting. Aldrich only scored eight points with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that he was held to single digits. The Jayhawks still dominated the Cornhuskers on the glass, though, outrebounding them, 38-22. Look for that to continue and Aldrich to make a bigger impact at home.
Momentum: Kansas
The Jayhawks will look to continue their 38-game home winning streak, the longest current streak in the nation. They have also beaten Nebraska 12 straight times, including 10 by double digits.
