Mick Foley Talks New WWE-Involved Comedy Project, WWE Hall of Fame and RAW1000
WWE Legend Mick Foley stopped by theScore studios on Tuesday to talk a variety of topics, and gave a few newsworthy tidbits:
First, Foley talked about RAW 1000 and the notion that certain legends may have been disappointed with their level of involvement. According to Foley, the legends seemed very pleasant backstage, especially those involved with Heath Slater—Slater was said to be well praised backstage, with Foley joking "somehow, all these legends were talking about Heath Slater—the kid got over!"
Foley also revealed plans to put on a WWE-involved comedy event immediately following Summerslam 2012 in Los Angeles at a separate location in LA—according to Foley, the show, envisioned by him, would be hosted by Santino Marella, and would include William Regal.
Among many other topics (including how Foley received the task of writing all 99 descriptions for WWE's latest Topps trading card set), Foley talked about the WWE Hall of Fame—not if, but when. Foley admitted that next year in the New York City area would be a perfect time, with Terry Funk and Jim Ross on his short list to induct him.
