NFL Draft, NFL, Darren McFadden

People are arguing that Darren McFadden will be the number one pick.

Some experts say that it will be Chris Long, the son of Hall Of Fame linebacker Howie Long.

In my opinion Darren Mcfadden or Chris Long will be the number one pick.

I think both of them are very strong athletes and whoever is the number one pick, both of them will play hard wherever they go.

The Miami Dolphins have the first overall pick so maybe they will realize that they need an offensive play maker.

So, maybe they will draft Darren McFadden or surprise everybody and take Matt Ryan, the Boston College QB. Maybe they will even take someone to make their defense better, like Chris Long.

But whoever is the number one pick, he will do his best wherever he goes. We can be sure of that.

  1. Dolphins take Darren Mcfadden? Not a chance.

He only goes #1 if someone is willing to trade up. They have Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams and and Lorenzo Booker.

If they pick, it will be one of the Longs. Chris is the odds on favorite, but Jake is a real possibility. They need a starting O-Tackle and a Guard from between the draft and cuts. But if they trade Jason Taylor, they'll need a real strong jack -- then a Dolphin's #1 choice probably goes to Chris Long but Vern Gholston would still be a second choice dark horse given his combine performance.

  2. McFadden is the best option! It's the only way to trade the first pick. If we are stupid enough to le Mcfadden go than it will be our own fault as we watch jerry jones give everything to who ever does pick him. Jerry wants Mcfadden period - at any cost! Jerry is just trying to be a snake and watch in the grass as he hopes Mcfadden falls to a cheaper spot. We need to take Mcfadden it is the only chance to get out of the first pick. And for any crazy reason Jerry doesn't bite (but he will) then oh well we still have the best player in the draft and now we can let Mcfadden turn into Peterson and trade him next year for more than we could have got this year. How much do you think teams would give for an A. Peterson? Or, we keep him at that point and del Ronnie Brown. All great options to a tough situation.
Both Brohm and Flacco if we can get them both in the later rounds would be great trade bait next year s well since we probably won't be contending for playoff spot this year anyway!
