China has a talented enough diving squad that they will likely take home all eight golds diving has to offer. They are just stacked. In light of this, this slideshow is going to be dominated by Chinese talent.
That said, it is not all divers from the Chinese team. There is one man with a solid chance of crashing the diving gold party.
One thing all five of these divers have in common is that they are supremely talented and ready to put on a great show in London.
Qiu Bo is the reigning FINA Male Diver of the Year, and for good reason. He has been dominant. Qiu is as near perfect as a diver can be.
At the 2011 FINA Diving World Series, he received 25 perfect 10s.
The scariest part about all of this is that he is just 19 and is showing no signs of doing anything but getting better.
It would be a shock if he didn't walk away with the gold, but he does have at least one supremely talented competitor to worry about. That would be the man on the next slide.
Tom Daley announced his greatness to the world as a 15-year-old when he became the 2009 FINA world champion in the 10-meter platform.
Despite his young age, he was already firmly on the diving radar by that point. He finished seventh in the platform in the 2008 Olympics.
Daley is one of his team's biggest stars in these Olympics and is supremely talented. He should walk away from these games with at least a silver.
He Chong is the defending Olympic gold medalist in the 3-meter springboard, and he hasn't let his game slip since. Since Beijing, he took home the gold in this event at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships.
He is not afraid to attempt dives with high levels of difficulty, and he routinely nails them. If he performs at the top of his ability, He will not be beat.
Since 2006, Chen Roulin has won virtually every major 10-meter platform event. In fact, she is the defending Olympics gold medalist in the 10-meter platform.
Chen, 19, is showing no signs of slowing down. She will bring her flawless, technically-perfect dives to London, and will almost assuredly walk away with another gold.
Wu Minxia has been an elite talent in the 3-meter springboard for years. However, she spent much of her time being the second-best in this event, and she has the silver medal from the Beijing Games to prove it.
Wu lost out, in those Olympics and many other competitions, to teammate Guo Jingjing. Well, Guo has retired, and now there is nothing standing between Wu and Olympic gold.
