No, no, no...God, please no.

We are about to see how gullible the American viewing public is, and my estimation puts that final tally somewhere between very and extremely.

Radar Online reports Kanye West is in the initial throes of asking Kim Kardashian to be his wife.

This means Yeezy is not smart, and neither are the masses who will no doubt tune into another season of Kim Kardashian Finds True Love.

Radar Online continues their exclusive report with news that West is actually thinking about using diamonds and rubies from his late mom Donda’s collection of fine jewelry to craft a ring for his girlfriend and reality TV superstar.

That seems like a good thing to do, make a ring from your deceased mother's collection to give to a woman who would be marrying for her third time. Yes, remember that Kardashian was married to music producer Damon Thomas once upon a time.

The Kris Humphries divorce is just her most public failure.

That divorce, which is still pending, seems to be the last speed bump to a new engagement, according to Radar Online

A source tells them:

And now, Kanye has found a woman he respects and loves just as much as his mom, so he wants to share her jewelry collection with Kim.

He’s hoping to propose to Kim with the ring when she finally gets divorced.

His friends think it’s a terrible idea and are advising him not to give Kim the ring. Because it’s a gift, it would be difficult for Kanye to ask for it back if they ever split up.

They’ve also reminded him that Kim is not somebody who works hard for her money. She makes millions doing reality shows and selling her image, and Donda’s jewelry shouldn’t be part of that image.

The divorce continues through depositions and seems to be destined for a longer haul, so you can wait for the "Very Special Season of Kim Kardashian Totally Falls in Love, This Time It's For Real."

The last time the reality TV princess milked her relationship for ratings (cynical much?), she was marrying New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries.

That fairy tale marriage lasted 72 days, shorter than her current relationship with West.

At some point, a wedding will take place. I base this assumption more on the sick feeling in my stomach than I do this report.

At that point, we will see how many viewers buy in once again. My vertigo tells me it will be all of them.
