Ichiro Suzuki Reportedly Traded to New York Yankees
Slap-hitting master Ichiro Suzuki has reportedly been traded from the Seattle Mariners to the New York Yankees.
The Yes Network's Jack Curry tweeted out the surprising trade news.
The Yankees have acquired Ichiro Suzuki for RHPs DJ Mitchell and Danny Fahrquar, a source said. Yanks also get undisclosed cash in deal.

Ichiro, 38, has seen his production fall off the map over the last two seasons, but he is still hitting .261 this year and plays excellent defense in right field.
To acquire his services, and some cash to help pay his massive contract, the Yankees are reportedly sending the Mariners a pair of right-handed pitchers in D.J. Mitchell and Danny Farquhar (assuming the above tweet was just a slight misspelling).
