The 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw airs tonight as a three-hour special. Many of the big names that have made Raw one of the most-watched shows on television will appear once again.
Already confirmed names for the show are: The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Shawn Michaels as DX, Mick Foley, The Undertaker and Paul Heyman.
According to Lords of Pain, a shocking name will appear at tonight's Raw. The story also goes on to say that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has been spotted in St. Louis, but nothing has been confirmed.
This will certainly be a massive show with some surprises and big segments.
On January 11, 1993, the first Monday Night Raw took place. Now, on July 23, 2012, there have been 1000 episodes of the longest running show on television.
With a match between John Cena and CM Punk already slated, there should be more surprises if Cena does happen to win the title.
According to Rant Sports, Kelly Kelly will return to the 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw. If she remains with the company, that may be a different story. As the article states, Kelly Kelly has pursued a career in acting and modeling as well.
According to PWMania, Sean Waltman, better known as X-Pac can have a part in the DX reunion tonight. There can be a chance that a full DX may occur with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac.
Are You Excited for Raw Tonight?
Brock Lesnar will be attendance to confirm his match with Triple H at SummerSlam. Other confirmed news will be the wedding between AJ and Daniel Bryan.
What is the situation with the new general manager? Chances are that will be addressed tonight too.
The Rock will be back in attendance to address the WWE Universe about his path to the WWE Title.
According to PWMania, Roddy Piper and Bret Hart are confirmed for the 1000th episode. Vince and Stephanie McMahon will be in the lineup as well, but Shane and Linda McMahon aren't very likely participants.
Expect to see a lot of legends such as Vader, Diamond Dallas Page, Road Warrior Animal, Doink the Clown, Jim Ross, Sid Vicious, "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Tatanka. Obviously TNA talents will not be making appearances in a WWE event.
This should be a show worth remembering with all the cameos and special appearances. Get ready for a wild three hours.
