With the 2011-2012 La Liga title in hand, Real Madrid have very few, if any, spots that need fixing on their roster.

Real appear set, especially at striker, but there's always the chance they could add another game changer or two who could help improve one of the world's elite squads.

Although there may not be any immediate tweaks forthcoming, here are a few candidates to be Real's next great face on the attack.

Neymar

While it was widely reported (via ESPN SoccerNet) last year that Real Madrid had come to terms with Brazilian striker Neymar, the move was never finalized.

Perhaps the world's most coveted young striker, the 20-year-old is still waiting to make his move from Santos to one of Europe's premier clubs.

In just four years of competition, Neymar has scored 107 goals—staggering numbers for a player of his age.

A move to Real would not only put Neymar firmly in the international spotlight, but it could be the beginning of a storied legacy.

Robin Van Persie

With speculation (via Goal.com) running rampant that Robin van Persie's time with Arsenal could be nearing an end, there are several intriguing destinations for the Dutch striker.

The 2011-2012 FWA Footballer of the Year, Van Persie has recorded 65 goals in all competitions over the last two seasons, firmly establishing himself as one of the English Premier League's elite forwards.

Van Persie has already stated that he won't be renewing (via USA Today) his contract with the Gunners, making a departure this summer all the more likely.

A goal scoring threat with the capabilities of Van Persie would certainly be welcomed with open arms by Real Madrid.

Leandro Damiao

Similar to Neymar, Leandro Damiao is a young Brazilian striker with a bright future ahead of him.

Now 23 years old, Damiao is coming off of a massive season with Brazilian side Internacional in which he notched 34 goals.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham have been the leading suitors for Damiao's services, but their attempts to this point have not resulted in a successful transfer.

Despite there being no definitive links between Damiao and Real Madrid, he's an intriguing name that fans should keep an eye on should Internacional not finalize a transfer agreement with Tottenham.

Giovani Dos Santos

A compelling figure with Tottenham Hotspur over the past few seasons, Mexican striker Giovani Dos Santos appears to have fallen out of favor at White Hart Lane.

With no semblance of consistent playing time under Harry Redknapp, Dos Santos has logged sparse minutes and few goals since joining the club.

A recognized talent, the 23-year-old striker could use a change of scenery. Perhaps Dos Santos will see more consistent minutes under new manager Andre Villas-Boas, but that doesn't appear to be a lock at this point.

Fernando Llorente

Now 27 years old, Spain's Fernando Llorente has established himself as one of Europe's most dangerous forwards.

A staple of La Liga side Athletic Bilbao for years, Llorente has ramped up his goal scoring efforts over the past few seasons.

Llorente netted 29 goals for Bilbao in all competitions last season, and finished tied for sixth in La Liga with 17 goals.

Thus far, Llorente has been linked most heavily (via The Guardian) to Premier League side Arsenal, but there's always the chance that Real could sneak in and lock up the pricey striker striker long-term.

Edinson Cavani

One of Serie A's rising stars, Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani could be an intriguing target of Los Blancos should they pursue further help on the attack.

Cavani has scored 49 goals for Napoli in Serie A over the past two seasons, and his stellar production could be a great asset to Madrid as they look to repeat as La Liga champions.

After shining in Serie A with Palermo and now Napoli, Cavani could benefit immensely from a move to one of Europe's elite sides. Given the right opportunity, Cavani could prove why he's one of the world's best young strikers.

Papiss Cisse

An interesting name out of the English Premier League, Newcastle United forward Papiss Cisse could help provide some punch to Real Madrid's front line.

Cisse, of course, arrived at Newcastle this past season, netting 13 goals in EPL play. Many fans will remember him for his wonder strike against Chelsea, one that many have called the goal of the year.

Prior to joining Newcastle, Cisse was quite the goal scorer in the German Bundesliga, recording 24 goals for side SC Freiburg during the 2010-2011 campaign.

A proven goal scorer, Cisse could help aid Madrid's title quest in the years to come.
