LSU Offers Tim Floyd the Void

The Daily News is reporting that LSU has offered USC basketball coach Tim Floyd the head coaching position with the Louisiana State Tigers.

Floyd is a natural candidate for the position, having previously coached the New Orleans Hornets, owned a house in Louisiana and recruited college talent from the state.

Although he was not available for comment on the offer, sources close to the situation claim Floyd was not interested in the offer.

Floyd has been recently quoted as saying: "I've said USC would be the last job I had," Floyd said last month. "I'm happy here."

And the 20-10 Trojans are happy with Floyd, who leads USC into their second straight NCAA tournament under his guidance.
