Tottenham Hotspur have been sensational so far in the summer transfer window. They have been actively signing new players, making sure that their current squad is still on board for next season—and it doesn’t look like stopping any time soon.

Spurs are still rumored to be interested in several players regarding potential moves to White Hart Lane this summer—adding to the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen, who have already completed successful moves to the club.

Read on to see who Spurs could also land over the summer transfer window.

Luka Modric

Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric is in some serious trouble after being fined by the club for not turning up to the team's preseason tour.

Modric is waiting for a move to be made by Real Madrid, but with Spurs wanting around £40 million for the midfielder and Madrid only prepared to pay around £30 million, it is believed that no offer will be made until the final days of the summer transfer window.

Spurs officials are believed to be so angry at Modric's snubbing of their preseason fixtures that they could block any move taking place at all from the Croatian midfielder.

Now that truly would be chaos.

Marco Borriello

Tottenham are believed to be considering a move for Roma striker Marco Borriello after being informed that they would be unable to sign Atletico Madrid striker Adrian Lopez.

Borriello spent last season on loan at Juventus and could be open to a move to the English Premier League, with Spurs likely to face competition from Werder Bremen and Galatasaray for the 30-year-old's signature.

However, if any move is to take place, a club will have to pay the £14 million buyout clause in Borriello's contract given he still has three years remaining on his current contract.

Tottenham and Chelsea transfer target Hulk has recently played down speculation he will be making a move to the English Premier League over the summer transfer window—stating that his full attention is on winning gold at the 2012 London Olympics.

Hulk was expected to sign with Chelsea earlier in the summer transfer window, but with no deal forthcoming and the striker getting less and less excited about the idea of moving to Stamford Bridge, Spurs have moved for the Brazilian international.

Hulk was spotted last week with Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas—the player's former manager from his time at Porto.

Jermaine Jenas

Despite featuring in Tottenham's preseason fixtures, Jermaine Jenas could be leaving White Hart Lane over the summer transfer window.

With the addition of Gylfi Sigurdsson to Spurs' attack, it is unlikely that Jenas will feature prominently this season, though it still remains to be seen whether or not Andre Villas-Boas will give the player a chance to impress at Tottenham.

And wrapping up our Tottenham transfer news is some positive information—Rafael van der Vaart has confirmed he will remain at the club next season.

Buoyed by the confidence shown from new manager Andre Villas-Boas, van der Vaart has stated that his "place is at Spurs—I want to win the title with this club."
