One of the top and most popular UFC flyweights in the world was prepared to make his return to the Octagon in August, but that is now no longer the case.

The former No. 1 ranked flyweight Ian McCall announced just two days ago that he would be returning on August 4th to face UFC newcomer John Moraga.

But today, according to MixedMartialArts.com, McCall has been forced to withdraw from his bout after suffering an injury.

McCall stated on the website, "I popped my knee last week, got an MRI this week, only an LCL sprain thank God, no tear."

There has been no decision on who will replace McCall against Moraga at UFC on Fox 4 as of today, but whoever it is will be fighting on just two weeks notice.
