Buckeyes start spring season at the top of Big Ten—again.

5. Michigan Wolverines

What we know: The spread offense arrives as one of its architects, Rich Rodriguez, begins his tenure as coach.

What we don't know: Almost everything. The starting quarterback, the wide receivers, the running back, the offensive line, the safeties.

How the Wolverines can win the league title: Swiftly grasp Rodriguez's offense and win key early home games (Wisconsin and Illinois).

We also don't know what Rich will say at his upcoming deposition. Don't you wonder? I do.

Not really. At this point I'm tired of all the hoopla about it, just like I'm glad that Terrelle Pryor finally decided. Even though he chose the horrible Buckeyes, at least he finally made a choice.

I just want to concentrate on the upcoming football season. I don't really care about what happens in court. He'll either pay it or he won't. It's not like he can't afford it.

Is Rich Rod still coaching WVU ? He must be, because you guys keep using a picture of him wearing the True Blue and Gold.

Come on guys !!! Rod gave up all rights to wear those proud colors when he started bad mouthing his own home state on national TV.

You can't find one picture of him wearing corn and blue? Do your job Mr. Gillespie. The least a Michigan fan like you can do is put your favorite new coach in the right uniform!

And you call your self a "scribe" !

    Sheesh.

So I was going to post on how utterly uselss your comment was, but I'll just say that I did not put that picture up there. Someone edited the article, added it, and I left it.

At the end of the day though, does it REALLY make a difference?

Well Brendan, my comments about Rich Rods picture was mostly good intended teasing more than anything else. If it had been sincerely serious, I could have gone on a long winded rant, or if I was one of those really pissed off Mountaineer fans, I could have thrown out a bunch of ill formed expletives, and looked like a jerk.

But since you asked... at the end of the day? Yes, it does make a difference. It makes a difference to the fans of a school, the Alumni of a school, who may have made some sacrifices to keep a couch happy when he threatened to leave. How about acting like a Michigan Fan, and make the effort to find a picture of YOUR school's new coach, wearing YOUR school's colors? After all, a Mountaineer fan should have to chide you to take some pride in your own favorite school, and its' colors? Shit kid, we Mountie fans had to listen to the national press talk ad naseum, about what a step up RR's sneaking out the back door was. We had to listen to slander about our school, suggestions that we were a bunch of racists, unsubstantiated tales of threats against RR's family, and tales how we were too cheap to pony up a few hundred thousand. Yes, it makes a difference, and it always will.

If you want to discount all that, then how about just taking some time to act like a semi professional scribe who takes pride in his work. Don't write a response back to me about how useless my comment was. If I was your employer, and heard you come up with an insulting excuse to a customer about why you made a half-assed effort to do your job... then you would soon be looking for a new line of work. If you want to flip burgers, then make sure they don't hit the floor... if you want to write articles about Michigan Football, then go out of your way to get the proper photo to go with it. If this is just a hobby for you Mr Gillespie, then please let us know right now so I won't waste my time reading any more articles from a guy who isn't willing to get ALL the details right.

"Someone edited the article, added it, and I left it."... and you had the balls to call my comment useless?

Woops... that should have read "coach happy" not "couch happy". Forgot to proof read LOL. We burn "couches" in Morgantown.

When I'm at work posting these - for some reason the picture adding feature won't work for me.

That's why. And, adding a picture isn't that much of a concern for me. Have a great day!
