The NFL draft is all about adding new talent to replace the old parts. Teams will waste no time shuffling out veterans for their new, shiny toys in the 2012 rookie class.
Which veterans have to worry most for their jobs this training camp season? NFL lead writer Josh Zerkle and I comb through the NFL to find the one position battle worth watching as training camp unfolds that will result in a rookie starter.
With over 300 rookies entering the league through the draft, there were plenty to choose from, but we feel confident that the situations here are the best to monitor for a rookie starter.
