The New Orleans Saints have had one hell of an offseason, but once the whistle blows on their first game, none of that matters anymore.

Forget Bountygate. Forget that Sean Payton is suspended. Forget it all. The expectations in New Orleans are no different this year than last. It's truly a "Super Bowl or bust" season in the Big Easy.

Making matters all the more pressing is the fact that New Orleans is hosting the Super Bowl this year. No team has ever played for a title in its home city, but this team has the talent with Drew Brees at quarterback and a revamped defense to win it all. That is if the Saints can ignore all those issues we opened with.

How does our expert panel of NFL lead writers see the season going? Dan Levy, Josh Zerkle, Aaron Nagler and myself break down the best- and worst-case scenarios for the New Orleans Saints' 2012 season.
