Jordan Gross, Carolina Panthers Are Near a Deal

Christopher BurchCorrespondent IFebruary 19, 2009

It has been reported that the Carolina Panthers and left tackle Jordan Gross are closing in on a record deal worth $30.5 million over the first three years of a contract which will be the biggest three-year payout to an offensive lineman.

It is also expected that the Carolina Panthers will place the franchise tag on Julius Peppers.

I will be back with more information on this developing story.
