The WWE is just days away from one of the biggest nights in its long history.

Forget SummerSlam. Forget Survivor Series. The 1,000th Raw has the hype and fanfare one can only compare to a WrestleMania.

With The Rock having already announced that he would appear, many have speculated on just how he will be involved.

This article will list a few possibilities to answer that question. Make of them what you will.

Just be sure to sound off on your own thoughts below.

Plays Some Part in the WWE Title Match

Let's start with the most obvious scenario.

With The Rock having announced that he intends to contend for the WWE Title in the near future, it would make sense for his appearance to come at some point during Monday's main event.

Granted, this doesn't have to come during the match; an interference in a fight between two face superstars wouldn't make much sense anyway.

Instead, look for his music to hit after the three-count, and a staredown with the victor to conclude the episode.

This way, the whole show would build toward his impending appearance, keeping viewers tuned in until the bitter end.

Interrupts Daniel Bryan and AJ's Wedding

This one's a little more far-fetched.

Picture it yourself: When the words "Does anyone here object?" are spoken, "If ya smell...!" rings out, and the Great One marches to the ring to a wild reception.

Daniel Bryan is rock-bottomed, AJ Lee is in tears and what was supposed to be the most beautiful day in the WWE calendar is ruined.

Can't picture it?

That's fine, neither can I.

Confronts Brock Lesnar

With Brock Lesnar set to answer Triple H's challenge to a match at SummerSlam, expect there to be fireworks Monday.

With DX also set to reunite, having Lesnar suddenly come out and attack both Triple H and Shawn Michaels would make a lot of sense.

Who better to join the fray than The Rock, setting the wheels in motion for a potential WrestleMania showdown with Brock next year.

Having Rocky defend his former adversary in Triple H would also be interesting to see.

No Gimmicks, No Interference, Just The Rock on the Mic

This makes the most sense for me.

Similar to his first return appearance last year, The Rock may just make his way to the ring and give the people exactly what they want—him.

With the floor to himself, it would give him the perfect opportunity to tell the WWE Universe exactly why he's come back, what his plans for the future are and whether or not he plans to fight before, or at WrestleMania XXIX.

If this is the case, let's hope he gives us the answer we want to hear.
