WWE News: Stone Cold Steve Austin Questionable for Raw 1,000

If you were one of the many anticipating "The Rattlesnake's" WWE return, you may have to wait.
It appears that there may be a scheduling problem, as WrestlingInc.com reports:
There is still no word on whether or not Steve Austin will be appearing on the 1,000th RAW episode. A source says that if Austin can get away from filming Grown Ups 2 then he may appear on RAW but when the date was first announced and brought up to him, there was a conflict.
Ultimately, this little scheduling SNAFU may take away from the 1,000th episode celebration as Austin was a huge part of Raw's history. Personally, I am torn about this news, as Austin clearly can't turn down this role. But it would be nice to see him on Raw next week.
Luckily for Austin, he has been fortunate enough to have created a career outside of wrestling and usually comes back when it works for his schedule.
In the end, it's refreshing to see that Austin is not trying to hang around the wrestling business longer than needed. We have seen way too many of our heroes from the past destroy themselves just to stay in the limelight.
Let me know your thoughts. Is this a good move by Austin, or should he appear via satellite to appease the fans?
