This was arguably the biggest trade of the year in the NBA. Now, it isn't even a trade. Oklahoma City sent Tyson Chandler back to the New Orleans Hornets because he failed their team physical. According to newsok.com, the reason as to why Chandler failed the physical test is unknown.

Newsok said General Manager Sam Presti wants to make sure that any player coming in fits the long term goals of the team. Obviously they saw something that threw up a red flag. At any rate, Chandler is headed back to New Orleans and Chris Wilcox and Joe Smith are back in Thunder blue again.

The trade deadline is at 2:00pm on Thursday. There is no immediate indication that either team plans on trading their players again, but it should be an interesting day.

Now there is a new question. Who is better off now?

With Chandler's injuries, it looks like Oklahoma City has made the right decision. Who knows when Chandler would have become available to play. He is injured with an ankle sprain.

New Orleans dealt Chandler to Oklahoma City to free up salary cap space. They thought they had that fixed. Now they have Chandler back. It is back to the old drawing board for the Hornets, who need to do something quick.

Both teams thought they had made a trade. Not anymore. Things are back to the way they used to be.
