Julius Peppers Narrows List to Four Teams

Giants27Analyst IFebruary 19, 2009

Carolina Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers has said that if franchised by the Panthers, he would demand a trade.

He said that he would only accept deals to four teams, one of which is the Dallas Cowboys. The rest have not been announced.

If he is not traded, Peppers stated that he will hold out until one is completed.

The Panthers now have the option of doing what the Chiefs did last year when they tagged Jared Allen. The Chiefs received a first-round pick and two third-round picks when they traded him to the Vikings.

If they do tag him, the Panthers are more than likely not allowing Peppers to go to a NFC team.
