Who is the Top NHL Goalie in the NHL?

There are obviously many great goalies in the NHL, but who really is the best? I'm gonna give four goalies and then choose one. If you disagree with this choice, then comment below.

Miikka Kiprusoff

Miikka leads all NHL goalies in wins. He is a great example of a goalie that provides leadership. He is truly the backbone of the Flames. This man can make the big saves any day. Miikka is truly one of the best candidates for this title.

Martin Brodeur

Despite being out for a long time, Brodeur is still one of the best. He holds the NHL record for wins in a season—if Kipper (Kiprusoff) can finish this season strong enough, that record might be his. He is one of the best goalies in the NHL now, and might go down as one of the best, period. He and Kipper might be the ones I'm going to have to decide between!

Roberto Luongo

Roberto Luongo is supposed to be next in line after Martin Brodeur. He is an elite goalie that can struggle at times. He can have solid games, but he can also have break-down games. He is amazing in the shootout, but I do not see him as the best until Brodeur and Kipper start slacking off (which, in my opinion, will not be soon).

Evgeni Nabokov

What can you say about Nabokov? Well, he does play on the West's best team. He is a great leader for the Sharks when needed. He is a goalie who struggles in the playoffs often. Also, no disrespect to Nabokov, but if he did not have a defense as good as he does, then he might not be as good as he is. He is great at saving one-timers, however.

My Decision

In my opinion, Miikka Kiprusoff is the NHL's top goalie right now. I hope he'll continue to be great for many years to come!
